Should have named this after my Mum … purple was her favourite colour.
Mmm! I didn’t turn all the quilting motifs around the right way … though perhaps I couldn’t decide which way was right!
I think I like the way it is on the right.

I think I have made that comment many times, often about designs in this project file.

All the blocks in this project file are designed using block designs from the Electric Quilt Block Library, but with the shapes mixed and matched with each other. Challenge for you is to identify the original blocks from the library.
My favourite is the second design!

Love pansies growing in a garden, and love them in this design and the collection of blocks I am playing with to create the quilt designs. This is one of the few applique project files in which I use quilting motifs not related to the applique blocks.
Love the first design, but the second one is my favourite of today’s pair.

I love old buildings with wrought iron lace around the roof line and the veranda. Bendigo is one place to see a great collection. The colours I have used in this series represent the fertile soil around Bendigo, and other areas where mining was important in the early settlement period, and the farming communities which replaced the miners.
My favourite today is the second design.
